Description of Representative for the Department of Radiology must possess a professional and friendly demeanor, and provide an effective and courteous service. Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently by phone and in person. Ability to accurately process radiology orders by using Cerner KIDS, RadNet StarHBOC. This position requires basic understanding of Radiologic modalities for the purpose of scheduling and providing patient instructions. Requires the ability to work in a team-approach environment in order to render efficient effective service. Excellent phone skills a must. Minimum Education/Training Required: High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum Experience Required: Sufficient verifiable experience performing clerical/receptionist duties in a medical setting (hospital environment preferred). Working knowledge of Radiologic terminology. Intermediate computer skills. Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred. EOE/AA
